He’s Under Our Feet!

In our lives we are faced with trials and tribulations daily. Sometimes we learn to roll with the punches and keep it moving. And other times it’s hard for us to bounce back and we become hindered because of defeat. We don’t take the time to recognize who’s behind it all. But I think it’s time that we take a stance. As followers of Christ we have an adversary named Satan. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy, everything! Everyday day we are in a battlefield and get attacked on so many levels. Not just externally but internally. We overlook adversity as “that’s just life” but I think that’s too casual of an attitude. He will continue to attack until he feels like he has won. But enough is enough! I’m putting the devil in his rightful place, UNDER MY FEET.

Think Big, Pray BIGGER!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

This verse is often mentioned in reference to knowing who God is and what He can do in our lives. We refer to it when we’re praying and believing God to do something great and mighty! But tragically, praying this prayer for most leads to disappointment, loss of faith, and an unanswered prayer. Not because God can’t do exceedingly abundantly, but because Continue reading “Think Big, Pray BIGGER!”

Obedience is Key

While pursuing our purpose in life we must remember what’s important. One thing that stands out to me is obedience. Sometimes when I think of the word obedience it reminds me of when I was a child and being obedient to my parents. But please understand that obedience carries on into adulthood. Not necessarily concerning our parents but definitely concerning God.
God has created a purpose for each of us Keep reading!

How to Make a Daily Confession

28 You will also declare a thing,
And it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways.

Job 22:28 NKJV

A confession is a declaration to yourself and to God about what you’re believing Him to do. I read somewhere that “Confession is faith’s way of expressing itself. Faith’s confession creates reality”. I believe that when we confess something we are believing God for daily, and really believe it, it will change our attitude and that thing will come to pass. Power of life and death is in the tongue and the moment we grasp that concept we will be powerful as followers of Christ. God operates in the same way. In the beginning God said, “let there be” and then there was! We have to speak things into existence and truly believe it will be our reality.

Ok, so I broke it down into 4 easy steps! Continue reading “How to Make a Daily Confession”
